As part of our team you will be involved in the development of innovative research activities including the use of machine learning and data fusion techniques to enhance predictability of the earth system. Your tasks: work on ongoing projects related to wave and ocean models applying interdisciplinary approaches contribute to the development of research activities aimed at implementing innovative approaches like machine learning and data fusion perform and analyse forecast simulations and climate change and assess uncertainties improve the model predictability of the earth system components perform impact studies (e.g. related to the extreme events) and assess the potential predictability of key variables relevant for different management sectors communicate your achievements and findings This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly motivated and multidisciplinary team of researchers.
